Dear Sister

                                                                                        Aug23,1492
Dear Sister,

How is every thing going? I have being missing you. You can’t imagine all I been through. I am writing to you from an island where we arrived two days ago. After 30 days of sailing, we finally reached coast in an island located in the Indies, Thanks god.
While in the journey we had some spontaneous troubles with “La Niña” and it eventually sank. We figure out it was due to a terrible storm it got trapped in. but mi disposition was really good, I didn’t get mad.
Since we couldn’t do anything with the remaining of the ship we decided to leave some men behind in the new world to build a fortress for the next time we come. Maybe you can come with me the next time and we could imperative build our own live in this wonderful island.
I decided to make two logs, one for the crew and the other one for myself. My log kept the real information about the journey, while the other log had inaccurate information about the days and time we had been at sea I guile them, I decided to do this because I found out that we were taking longer than I expected and that my man could go crazy at sea. But I was afraid of them to notice that we have been more than20 day in the sea.

An electrified night

An electrified night

Gingerly walking down the stairs to making no sudden noise so my parents wouldn’t wake up. The hall was dark, and remembering the gruesome stories I read, made me shiver. I walked into the dark and cold kitchen. In a rush of sudden dehydration I made an inventory of all the types of teas I could possibly see.

Wondering what other things I could drink I heard a shrieking horrible noise from the house next door, the noise was so horrifying I grimaced. I could derive something bad was happening in the neighbor’s house. Did the old man die? No! It couldn’t be, but to corroborate I thought of going over there and asking if everything was ok.

I watch at the clock, it was too late.
In that second I made a sudden movement that made the hot tea waterfall and I slipped and tripped making an abrasion on my leg. In a cursory manner I cleaned up the disaster. And knew that even though I wasn’t going to go to the house, I endeavor to call the police. When I did I felt relieved, but I still had a sense of scariness. I clad with my bed sheets that made me feel protected and I went back to sleep.
